Director of Autism Services and Clinical Integration

A member of the leadership team, the Director of Autism Services and Clinical Integration works under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer to create and sustain a service delivery model that aligns with best practice standards, model integrity and stakeholder expectations.

The position is responsible for overseeing and developing programs through hiring, supervision, program evaluation and community engagement.

The Director must also develop, plan, and implement strategies for program continuation, integration and growth while being positive and supportive of Familylinks’ personnel and the mission of the organization.

Job Description

· Responsible for strategic planning, leadership and operational oversight reflecting the mission, vision and culture of the organization

· Establish service line budgets and proactively monitor financial performance to ensure operation within the budget or financial plan

· Develop service descriptions and Standard Operating Procedures for all identified services within the continuum of care

· Collaborate with the billing coordinator to ensure authorization and billing accuracy

· Remain current regarding research and evidence-based practices

· Promote integration of clinical services and training

· Competently facilitate the delivery of services via telehealth, when necessary

· Complete billable hours as needed / assigned of BCBA services

Compliance

· Strictly adhere to Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s “The Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts”

· Follow guidelines set forth in the Council of Autism Service Providers’: “Applied Behavior Analysis Treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder: Practice Guidelines for Healthcare Funders and Managers”

· Work to the standards of the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence

· Adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and regulatory agencies

Electronic Health Records Systems

· Monitor practice EHR practice reports to ensure that data, session notes, documentation,

billing, and utilization is in line with organization policies and established practices

· Lead the implementation of the identified electronic health record (EHR) within all ABA service models; Ensure team documentation meets clinical best practice standards

Supervision

· Oversee and ensure adequate BCBA clinical supervision of RBTs and BHTs

· Ensure clinical competency of all teammates working within the continuum of behavioral and autism services

· Facilitate a BCBA Clinical Mentor Program that includes a Lead / Co model of care

General Supervision

· Approve all timecards, time off requests and expense reports in a timely fashion (24 hour turnaround)

· Responsible for personnel management, competency development, and coaching of staff

General Assignments

· Record time and attendance via Human Resources Information Systems and Timekeeping system as applicable

· Attend meetings/training as requested/required

· Other duties as assigned

· Adhere to laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures, including those related to maintaining client confidentiality such as HIPAA

Job Requirements

• Master’s Degree or PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), education, social work, psychology or other related field

· Current and Active Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and licensure within the state of Pennsylvania

• Must have 3-5 years of experience working as a licensed Behavior Analyst/Board Certified Behavior Analyst

• Management experience preferred

• Must have experience working with children ages 0-21 implementing ABA and experience implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis

• Relay clinical protocols in easy to understand manner

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, computer/laptop, tablet and cell phone required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

$85-100K
